*Description*

This cream cotton saree is worked in Sambalpuri Baandha, the tie-dye ikat where yarn is resist-dyed before it ever meets the loom. Deep purple runs through the border and pallu, where woven figures and motifs gather in the traditional Sambalpuri style. The cream body stays light and quiet, letting the pallu carry the story. Tasselled ends finish it off. Coloured with natural dyes, so slight variation in shade is part of its hand-made character.

Handwoven pieces naturally feature slight variations in weave, color, size, and dye—these are inherent to artisanal craft, not defects. Minor color bleed and shrinkage may occur; gentle, separate care is recommended.
